WHO IS LEADING THE FIGHT AGAINST THIS PROPOSED CLEANFILL?
A group of concerned local residents has formed “Stop the Cleanfill Action Group” that will join with the “Wainui Environmental Protection Society” (WEPS), an established group that had led the opposition to the Limerock Quarry in Old Pine Valley Rd.
This group will be engaging a number of expert consultants to oppose this project through submissions at the Resource Management Consent hearing.
